Can someone else collect my race number?
Yes, someone else can collect your race number. That person must know your race number and your name.
When and where can I pick up my race number?
Race numbers can be picked up at the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion located in Julianapark in Venlo during the event. Friday, March 19: 9:00 – 17:00 (walkers & runners) Saturday, March 20: 12:00 – 17:00 p.m (runners)
Can I offer my start number for sale?
You can transfer your race number from 22 January to 7 February via your personal dashboard. Go to your personal dashboard via the link in your confirmation email. Here, you can resell your ticket using a private link. Would you like to use the public resale platform? If so, please tick this option. The resale platform will be open again from 5 to 19 March. Only private sales will be permitted during this period. You will be responsible for the physical handover of the race number in due course. It is also possible to transfer or sell a race number for the Neptunus Walk from 5 to 19 March.

Where do I find my personal dashboard?
You will find your personal dashboard in the confirmation e-mail or at www.atleta.cc/me.
How can I cancel?
You can cancel by sending an e-mail to inschrijven@venloop.nl. Until 31 December, you will receive a refund of your registration fee minus a €5 administration fee in accordance with our general terms and conditions .
I’d like to change my distance – is that possible?
You can change the distance for your entry via your personal dashboard, as long as your desired distance is not fully booked. You can do this until 7 February; after this date, you can send an email to inschrijven@venloop.nl, as long as the distance you wish to run is not fully booked.
Where can I make changes to my registration?
You can make changes to your registration via your personal dashboard. Here, you can also add additional items to your registration, such as having your race number posted to you, a T-shirt or a medal engraving. You can do this until 7 February.
Can I offer my start number for sale?
You can put your race number up for sale via the Resale platform. This is the only official way to put a race number up for sale. The Resale platform will be open from 22 January to 7 February and can be found on our website during this period. You can easily list your race number for sale via your personal dashboard. The Resale platform will reopen from 5 to 19 March. Only private sales will be permitted during this period. You will be responsible for the physical handover of the race number in due course.
What is the best way to travel?
Public transport! Venlo railway station is just a 4-minute walk from the event site.
How do I receive my race number?
Have you chosen to send it? You will receive your race number in the first week of March.
Have you chosen to pick up your race number in person? Walkers can collect their race numbers on Friday 19 March from 09:00 to 17:00. Runners can also collect their race numbers on Friday 19 March from 09:00 to 17:00 or on Saturday 20 March from 12:00 to 17:00.
Your race number can be collected from the registration desk. This is located in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion, situated in the Julianapark in Venlo.
Would you prefer to have your race number sent to you by post? You can add this option to your registration via your personal dashboard until 7 February.
I have not received my start number, now what?
First check via your personal dashboard whether you have chosen to send the start number. If you have not received your starting number on time, you can report to the service desk of the registration office. Here you will receive a new starting number so you can still participate.
The service desk is located in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion in the Julianapark in Venlo.
Race numbers that are returned to the sender will not be sent out again.
Does post-registration take place?
Registration is only possible online until Friday 19 March, provided that a race category has not sold out. It is not possible to register on the day of the event itself.
Is there a waiting list by distance after selling out?
No, there is no waiting list. Cancellations have already been taken into account when determining the maximum number of participants. From 22 January to 7 February, the resale platform will be open, allowing participants who are unable to attend to put their race numbers up for sale. You can find the resale platform on our website.
Is it possible to combine a shipment?
Each registration is considered individual. It is therefore not possible to combine a shipment to one address.
Where can I buy Venloop merchandise?
You can buy Venloop merchandise in your personal dashboard or in our webshop. During the event, there will also be a Venloop stand in the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion.
Can I swap Venloop merchandise?
Yes, you can. You can swap ordered t-shirts or other items at the Venloop office, Koninginnesingel 14 in Venlo or during the event (while stocks last). If in doubt, please contact us first via info@venloop.nl
To which we can answer “yes”:
-Yes, public transport is by far the most cost-effective way to travel to the Venloop
-Yes, you can have a massage from Funqtio’s physiotherapists after the race
-Yes, there is a warm-up area: Burgemeester van Rijnsingel
-Yes, there are pacers for the 10km and the half marathon
-Yes, you can have your medal engraved. This can be done at the Winterman Sports stand in Julianapark
-Yes, you’re allowed to run alongside your child in the Bambino Runs (500 metres)
-Yes, you can leave your luggage safely in the luggage pavilion. This applies only on Sunday 21 March. Book a locker during registration to be sure of getting one. Any unbooked lockers will be made available free of charge on the day of the event
-Yes, there are plenty of cheer points along the route. Are you interested in setting up a cheer point? If so, please contact sfeer@venloop.nl
-Yes, there will be sufficient (mobile) first-aid cover during the event
-Yes, lost property will be collected at the information point in Julianapark. It will be taken to Venlo City Council the week after the event
-Yes, toilet facilities are available, both at the event site and along the 10km and half-marathon routes
-Yes, there are refreshment stations along the 10 km and half-marathon routes
-Yes, there is a reporting point for missing children. This point is located by the Peace Flame behind the Limburgs Museum
-Yes, various photographers are taking photos. These will be published on our website in due course.
To which, unfortunately, we have to answer “no”:
-No, you are not permitted to hand out flyers, leaflets or brochures. We believe it is important to do our bit and therefore try to make sustainable choices wherever possible.
-No, dogs are not allowed at our walking events
-No, Nordic walking sticks are not allowed at our walking events
-No, the route of the Neptunus Walk is not closed to traffic. As a participant, you are a road user just like any other
-No, there is no time limit. All walkers must finish before 17:00. The time limits for the Arrow Venloop are: 5 km: 45 minutes, 10 km: 90 minutes, half marathon: 180 minutes
What happens if there is extreme weather on the day of the event?
In the event of extreme weather conditions the organisation maintains the right to cancel the event. We also ask all participants to monitor the weather on the race day and adapt their clothing, food and drinks accordingly. The organisation will always do its upmost to adapt the event to the weather conditions.
Where can I park on the Sunday of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun?
On the Sunday of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun, part of 't Ven is closed to traffic. It is then useful to park the car outside this area, for example at Trefcenter or Tuincentrum Leurs and to walk the last part.
How can I become an atmospheric point at the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun?
You can register as an atmospheric point of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun via the atmosphere page on our website.
Are there any cheering points along the route of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun?
There will be various cheering points during the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun. Marching bands from Limburg, choirs, drum bands and a host of other vibe-inducing music bands will be performing at these cheering points.

To book a hotel stay, we refer to Van der Valk Hotel Venlo. This hotel is close to the starting location.
Will photos be taken of the participants during the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun?
Photos will be taken by various photographers along the route and at the finish line. The photos will be posted on our website a few days after the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun.
What happens to lost property?
All lost property will be taken to the information point on Pastor Kierkelsplein in front of the Bantuin community hall. The info point is open during the event. After the event, you can contact the municipality of Venlo with questions about lost property.

The start of both the walk on Saturday and the runs on Sunday is Pastoor Kierkelsplein 20, Venlo in front of the Bantuin community hall.

The minimum age to take participate in the running events of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun is 16 years for both the 5 km and the 10 km.
How is my time recorded?
Your starting number contains a chip that is needed for time registration. This allows you to see later what your net time is, among other things. The results can be found afterwards on our website. This year, just like previous years, the chip is on the back of your starting number.

The results will be posted on the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun page as soon as possible after the event, under Results.
When are the award ceremonies of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun?

Are there drink stations on the trail?
There will be one official drink station on the course of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun. Water will also be available after the finish line.
Do participants receive medical advice before the event?
A number of preventive measures will be shared by a doctor form the VieCuri medical team in a separate letter. These measures focus, among others, on weather conditions, fluid and food intake, injuries, illness and other medical emergencies. The information is distributed to all runners via our newsletter.
Are there First Aid posts during the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun?
There will be a first aid post at the start/finish during the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun.
Is there drinking and eating at the finish line?
Immediately after the finish, everyone gets a banana and water at will. Bananas are known as fruits that are nutritious, healthy and easy to digest. In addition, they provide a lot of energy and improve endurance.
What if I do not receive my Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun starter kit by post on time?
If you did not receive it in time by mail, please report to the information point located on Pastor Kierkelsplein near the Ban Garden in 't Ven. Walkers can come here on the Saturday of the event, between 09:00 - 10:00. Runners can come here on the Sunday of the event, between 9:30 -13:00.

That depends on the option you selected during your registration. Please check your registration confirmation if you are not sure.
Can I exchange my Kwaakerrun shirt?
You can exchange the shirt you ordered (while stocks last), but only if the shirt is still in the original packaging and within four weeks of delivery. Return the shirt in the original packaging to the Venloop office at Koninginnesingel 14, 5911 KB Venlo. Please enclose a note stating your name and address details and, of course, the size you want. We will then send you a shirt in this size (if in stock). You can also visit the office personally to exchange the shirt. We are open from 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. We advise you to contact us in advance to check whether the size you want is still in stock.

What are the opening hours of the Kwaakerrun information point?
The information point is located on Pastor Kierkelsplein near the Ban Garden in 't Ven. On Saturdays, the information desk is staffed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Can I transfer my starter pack to another hiker?
You can simply transfer the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour starter pack to someone else as soon as you receive it. You do not need to report this to the organization.
When can I expect my starting number of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun by post?
Start numbers will be sent out in the two weeks before the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun.
How can I transfer my starting number for the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun to another runner?
If you want to transfer a start number for the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun you need to arrange this among yourselves. If it is a running start number, we ask that you email the details of both the buyer and seller using the contact form on our website. May I run with my child during the youth runs?
We have three different youth runs, namely the 500 m run (ages 4 to 6), the 1 km run (ages 7 to 9) and the 1 km run (ages 9 to 11). Participants 12 and older can participate in the 2.5 km. For youth runs up to age 6, a parent may run with you. For children 7 years of age or older, this is not allowed.
What happens if there is extreme weather on the day of the event?

If we are informed of your cancellation no later than 2 weeks before the start of the event the fee will be refunded minus €5 administration fee. In compliance with our general terms and conditions, no fees will be refunded for cancellations after this time. If this is the case, we advise you to find someone to transfer your starting place to.

Why is there a clipping card in my starter pack?
With your starter pack you will find a cutting card and keycord. This will give you access to your starting area. In addition, it will be checked and clipped by our volunteers at several points during the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour, and with a fully clipped clipping card you will receive a nice souvenir of your participation from us at the finish line.
Can my dog walk with me?
Dogs will not be allowed during the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour.
Are there drink stations on the way?
During the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour, there will be an opportunity to purchase refreshments at the break point. There are also several snack sponsors along the way who will have some delicious food for you. Consider bringing your own water carrier that you can refill along the way.
Are there any rest points along the way?
During the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour, the organization will set up rest and atmosphere points at various places along the route. These points will be equipped with various facilities, such as restrooms and seating areas. There will also be outlets here and there for coffee, tea, soft drinks and/or something to eat. Should you wish to take advantage of this, be sure to bring cash.
Is the route closed to other traffic during the Garden Centre Leurs Walking Tour?
The route is not closed to other traffic. Therefore, all participants of the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour are not only walkers during the walking tour, but also simply traffic participants. So be mindful of other road users and use pedestrian paths if possible. The Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour will be managed by several volunteers. For example, traffic controllers will be present at busy crosswalks to ensure safe crossing. Always follow their advice. In addition, our mobile biking team will be on the route, keeping a close eye on everything.
What can I expect from the route?
The route of the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour passes through beautiful (natural) areas in 't Ven. The route is fully plotted with arrows, making it easy to follow. There is also the option to view the route on the website or follow it via the Venloop app. Here you can track exactly where you are. Do not leave trash on the road. Venlo clean, quite simply!

Where can I park on the Saturday of the Garden Centre Leurs Walking Tour?
On the Saturday of the Garden Center Leurs Walking Tour, parking is available in the parking lots and streets of 't Ven. It is not possible to park your car in the parking lot at the Bantuin.
Can I exchange my Kwaakerrun hiking polo?
Yes, it is possible to exchange your ordered Kwaakerrun hiking polo shirt (while supplies last), but only if the shirt is still in its original packaging and within four weeks of delivery. You can exchange the hiking polo shirt in two ways. You can come and exchange the walking polo shirt at the Venloop Foundation office (Koninginnesingel 14, 5911 KB Venlo). You can also choose to exchange the hiking polo by mail. If you wish to exchange the polo by mail, please make sure that the envelope in which you send the shirt is sufficiently stamped and clearly state which size you would like to receive from us. It is advisable to contact us in advance to check if your desired size is still in stock.
