I want to make changes regarding my enrollment.

In your registration confirmation you will find a link to the "self-change form." This form allows you to make changes to your enrollment. Consider change of address, new email address, etc. Please note that you can change your information until pre-registration closes.

I want to change my distance/part of the Arrow Venloop. Is that okay?

You can change your details until the pre-registration closes. Please contact us via the contact form on our website. Are you late? Dab you can transfer your current starting ticket to someone else by using the transfer form that will come online in early March. You can then register again for your desired distance, as long as it is not yet full.

Where is the registration office located?

The registration office is located in the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in the Julianapark (on the Deken van Oppensingel) between start and finish. The starting numbers must be retrieved here. Hikers can go here on the Friday for the Neptune Walking Tour between 12:00 – 17:00 or Saturday from 6:30. Runners can go on Saturday 25 March between 12.00 – 17.00 hours or Sunday 26 March between 09.30 – 14.00 hours. Participants in the Koenen and Co Business Run receive the starting numbers at the company via the company.

How can I report my cancellation?

You can cancel by contacting us via the contact form on our website. If a cancellation is known to us no later than 3 months before the start of the event in question, the registration fee paid minus a €5 administration fee will be refunded. Cancellations after this time will not refund the registration fee paid in accordance with our terms and conditions. If this is the case, you may be better off finding someone yourself who wants to take over your starting ticket.

Can I still have my arrow Venloop starting number sent?

If you have chosen not to have your start number sent to you, but would still like it sent to you, you can reorder this option in our webshop. This is possible until pre-registration closes.

How can I transfer my starting number for the Arrow Venloop to another runner?

You can transfer your start number to another participant via a form that will come online in early March. In accordance with our terms and conditions, this is also the only permitted way to transfer your start number. The original participant's name will be printed on the start number, however, the new participant will appear under his/her own name in the results list. Please note that the new name will not be displayed at 'check enrollment'. It is important to note that you can only transfer the start number once and it is not possible to change the distance. Participants of the Koenen and Co Business Run cannot transfer their start number. This data can only be changed by the contact person of the Koenen and Co Business Run. The new participant must complete the transfer form. In doing so, you do need some information from the current participant, namely the start number, zip code and date of birth. Under no circumstances does the organization pass on participant data or mediate between participants with respect to transfer. For the transfer, €3 will be charged by one-time automatic debit. Upon completion of the transfer process, you will receive a transfer confirmation email. Finally, participants should make sure among themselves that the start number reaches the correct (new) participant, as it is not possible to pass on a change of address for this purpose. Venloop Foundation does not intervene in the transfer of a start number. Participants are responsible for the proper registration and transfer of the physical race number.

What if I do not receive my arrow Venloop starting number by post on time?

First check your enrollment confirmation to see if you will be sent your starter pack. If you actually get it sent to you, but did not receive it in the mail on time, please report to the Trouble Desk at the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in Juliana Park. Runners can come here on Saturday, March 23 between 12:00 - 17:00 or Sunday, March 24 between 09:30 - 14:00

Where and when can I pick up my start number?

Start tickets to be picked up will be available at the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion in Juliana Park. Runners can visit: - Friday March 22 between 12:00 - 17:00 - Saturday March 23 between 12:00 - 17:00 - Sunday March 24 between 09:30 - 14:00 Julianapark is located between the Deken van Oppensingel and the Burgemeester van Rijnsingel in Venlo.

Will I receive my Arrow Venloop starter package?

You can check this in your registration confirmation.

When can I expect my arrow Venloop starting number by post?

The starter packages will be sent no later than the two weeks before the Arrow Venloop.

Does post-registration take place?

If you missed the pre-registrations, you can register with a post-registration via the registration form, provided your desired distance is not already full. Post-registration fees can be found on the registration page. View post-registration rates here.

Is there a waiting list when a section has reached the limit?

No reserve lists will be used. Cancellations have already been taken into account when determining the maximum number of registrants.

Where can I find the results of the Arrow Venloop?

The results will be available on the Arrow Venloop page as soon as possible after the match, under the heading results.

How are the starting boxes arranged?

The starting courses are organized according to the expected end time that participants specified during registration. Based on the color on the starting number, participants get access to the relevant starting box. It is not possible to start in an earlier start box, but it is possible to start in a start box with a later end time. To register for the quick start courses, you must follow a special procedure. For more information about this, see the page "Arrow Venloop", tab "Extra information".

What are the time limits for the running races of the Arrow Venloop?

The time limit for the 10 kilometers is 1.5 hours and for the half marathon 3 hours.

How is my time at the Arrow Venloop registered?

Your starting number contains a chip that is needed for time registration. This allows you to see later what your net time is, among other things. The results can be found afterwards on our website. This year, just like previous years, the chip is on the back of your starting number.

Can I have my medal of the Arrow Venloop engraved?

You can have your medal engraved after your participation. The people of Winterman Sport are happy to put your name and finish time on your medal. This way you have a unique copy and also a beautiful memory of your participation. You can order an engraving during your registration, this will then cost €8.50. This order can also be found on your starting number, as there is an image of a medal on your starting number. If you did not choose this during your registration, but it still seems like a nice addition? You can report to the Winterman Sport booth on the day. If you decide afterwards to engrave your medal, the cost for this is €10. Please note: engraving your medal is only possible on the day itself by the people of Winterman Sport, in the tent opposite the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in the Julianapark.

Is it best to come to the event by public transport?

Given the number of participants and visitors of our event, we advise you to travel to Venlo by public transport. The start and finish area is a stone's throw from Venlo Central Station and the bus station. This makes it ideal to attend our event by public transportation. The Venloop has a special package in collaboration with Arriva and VRR, with which you can travel with advantage. For more information, please visit the "public transport" page on our website.

Where can I park on the Sunday of the Arrow Venloop?

We recommend visiting the event by public transport. Participants and spectators who still want to come by car can simply use the parking garages and spaces in the city center on Saturday. These are open on the Saturday of the Neptune Walking Tour. However, entering and exiting can be hindered by expected crowds. On Sunday we set up two parking spaces. From here, shuttle buses run up and down to the start-finish area in Julianapark between 9:30 and 18:00. What is the minimum age to participate in the running races of the Arrow Venloop?

The minimum age to participate in the half marathon is 18 years. For the 10 kilometers this is 16 years and for the 5 kilometers 13 years.

May I run with my child during the Bambino and Children’s Run?

Yes, in the Bambino Run and the Children's Run, one parent may run with you. Included with these start numbers is one wristband for the parent upon presentation of which access to the start area and/or run-out area is granted. For children 7 years old or older, or Kidsrun participants, this is no longer allowed. An exception is hereby made for the participants of the G-run.

Can I exchange my Venloop shirt?

If the item you ordered does not fit, you can exchange it. Return the shirt in its original packaging to the Venloop office at Koninginnesingel 14, 5911 KB Venlo. For completeness, please add a bill to the envelope with your name and address information and, of course, your desired size. We will then send this size (if in stock) back to you. In addition, it is also possible to come and exchange the shirt at the office. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Where can I buy Venloop merchandise?

During your registration you can purchase various Venloop merchandise. But also at the Venloop office, in the webshop or during the Expo on the Friday and Saturday of the Venloop, merchandise can be purchased, such as bibbits, t-shirts and flags. In the webshop you can have the products sent or pick them up yourself at our office at Koninginnesingel 14.

What does the top field of the Arrow Venloop look like this year?

A top field of approximately 40 to 50 women and men will start. Race director Martijn Venhuizen will once again set up a balanced field for an exciting race. A pair of microphonists will cover the match. The match can also be followed LIVE on the local broadcaster "Omroep Venlo".

Do any pacers enter the contest?

Also next edition there will be pacers whose pace you can follow to finish within a certain time. On the 10km we have pacers at 50 minutes, 60 minutes and 70 minutes. In the half marathon, the pacers' finishing times are 1:30:00, 1:45:00, 2:00:00 and 2:15:00. The pacers can be recognized by a large Arrow Venloop beach flag, with the time they expect to walk. In most cases, they run in pairs. They will line up at the relevant signs in the starting boxes.

When will the award ceremony of the Arrow Venloop take place?

The numbers 1-2-3 of the Aartsen 10 km (men and women) will be honored around 13:15 on the podium next to the finish. The numbers 1-2-3 of the Van der Valk Hotel Venlo half marathon (men and women) will be honored around 3.15 pm on this podium. Participants who may win prizes will receive a lanyard after the finish on which the time and location of the award ceremony is indicated. Of course it can happen that you get a keycord hung, but do not win a prize or that you have won a prize but do not get a keycord hung. Cash prizes will not be sent and can only be collected by the winners on the Sunday of the event during the award ceremony in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion. It starts at 4.15 pm. The business teams of the Koenen and Co Business Run will be approached a few days after the Arrow Venloop for the award ceremony, which will therefore not take place on the Sunday during the Arrow Venloop.

What facilities are there along the course and at the finish?

There are drink stations near the 5, 10, 15 and 18.5 kilometers. Born water and sports drinks are provided at all stations. After the finish there is also water and sports drink from Born. At the half marathon, pieces of banana are handed out at the third drink station, after about 15 kilometers. Bananas are known as fruits that are nutritious, healthy and easy to digest. In addition, they provide a lot of energy and improve endurance. Everyone also receives a banana at the finish.

Is there changing and shower facilities?

A limited number of shower and changing facilities have been set up at Stadion de Koel, Kaldenkerkerweg 182, 5915 AH in Venlo (free bus shuttle service) and at the St. Martinusschool in the center (only for participants of the Koenen and Co Business Run on presentation of the wristband).

Can I leave my luggage somewhere safe?

As a participant of the Arrow Venloop, we offer you the opportunity to leave your luggage with one of our enthusiastic volunteers in the luggage pavilion. They will be happy to keep it for you. Note! The dimensions of the lockers are: 23 x 27 x 40. You could book larger lockers during your registration. If you have not done this, but are still interested, take a look at our webshop to see if even larger lockers can be reserved here. Please note: do not leave valuables unattended. The organization is not liable for loss or theft Participants of the Koenen and Co Business Run can leave their clothes in the guarded changing room, which is only accessible on presentation of the wristband that each Business Run participant has received with his starting number. There is also a locker per team for valuables.

Are there any atmospheric points along the way at the Arrow Venloop?

During the Arrow Venloop, various atmospheric points have been set up on both Saturday and Sunday. Yuk chapels, choirs, drum bands and all other atmosphere-enhancing music companies are divided over these atmospheric points. Before the start of the 10 km and half marathon, various spectacular performances will take place on the Deken van Oppensingel / Julianapark. Do you also want to register as an atmospheric point? Will photos be taken of the participants during the Arrow Venloop?

Photos are taken by various photographers along the way and photos of the participants are taken at the finish. A few days after the Arrow Venloop these photos will be available on our website.

What happens to lost property?

All found objects that come to us are brought to the information point in the Julianapark. After the event you can contact the municipality of Venlo for lost and found objects.

What is the Koenen en Co Business Run?

During the Arrow Venloop, a separate competition is organized for companies; the Koenen and Co Business Run. Here they compete with other teams for the coveted title as "fastest company"! The runners of the Koenen and Co Business Run can gather in the Julianapark near or in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion. The program of the Business Run is the same as the program of the regular participants. For more information, please visit the Koenen en Co Business Run page on our website.

What is the Pasta Party?

While walking and running you burn a lot of carbohydrates, so it is important to consume enough carbohydrates in advance, or to supplement them afterwards. That is why the Venloop organizes a pasta party on the Saturday before the Arrow Venloop from 19:00 in the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in the Julianapark. Imagine yourself in bella Italia during our traditional Venloop Pasta Party. Come together with other participants in a cozy setting to enjoy a freshly prepared buffet with different types of pasta, bread and salads. For €15,- you can enjoy the unlimited buffet and you get two drinks of your choice. View the photos of last edition here. Can I hand out flyers/leaflets/brochures during the Arrow Venloop?

No, flyering is not allowed during the Arrow Venloop. We think it is important to do our bit and therefore try to make as many sustainable choices as possible. For example, we no longer have paper program booklets ourselves. We therefore apply a no-flyer policy that is also valid for third parties. If you would like to give more publicity to your company during the Arrow Venloop weekend, we have various other options for that. You can contact us via the contact form on the website, then we will look at the possibilities together with you.

Where is the missing children hotline?

A point will be set up in the Juliana park where missing children are taken care of and where parents can pick them up. This point is at the peace flame behind the Limburgs Museum.

Which hotel do you recommend?

Where and when can I pick up my starter package of the Arrow Venloop?

Are there sanitary facilities available?

When does the registration of the Arrow Venloop open?

Is medical advice given to the participants of the Arrow Venloop in advance?

A doctor from the VieCuri medical team gives a number of preventive measures for runners in a separate letter. These measures are aimed at weather conditions, fluid and food intake, injuries, illness and other medical calamities. The letter is distributed to all runners via our newsletter.

What is the G-loop?

Also this year the Scelta Mushrooms G-loop of 1 km will be organized. In collaboration with this sponsor, a fun program is also organized for the participants after the finish. It is allowed to accompany a G-runner during his or her run.

Is there first aid available during the Arrow Venloop?

There are several first aid points along the trail. On the 5 km and 10 km there will also be "mobile" first aid stations on the course. Look for other locations on the maps.

When can I expect my arrow Venloop starting number by post?

What can I expect from the route?

The route of the Neptune Walking Tour passes through beautiful (natural) areas in the municipality of Venlo. The route of the Neptune Walking Tour is fully marked with arrows, making it easy to follow. There is also the option to view the route on the website or follow it via the Venloop app. Here you can track exactly where you are. Do not leave trash on the road. Venlo clean, quite simply!

Is the route closed to other traffic during the Neptune Walking Tour?

The route is not closed to other traffic. Therefore, all participants in the Neptune Walking Tour are simply traffic participants in addition to walkers during the walk. So be mindful of other road users and use pedestrian paths if possible. The Neptune Walk will be managed by several volunteers. For example, there will be traffic controllers at busy crosswalks to ensure safe crossing. Always follow their advice. In addition, our mobile biking team will be on the route, keeping a close eye on everything.

What does my starting ticket look like?

In previous years, our walkers received a clip card on a keycord. Starting in 2023, all walkers will receive a walking band instead of the familiar clip card. This walking band is your start ticket, so pay close attention to this! The walking band offers all kinds of new possibilities. For example, you can use the band to track yourself in the Venloop app; your friends and family can also see where you are this way. Afterwards, you can see how long you ended up taking. The walking band, like the clip card, will be checked and scanned at several points by our volunteers. When the tape is scanned at all checkpoints, you will receive a nice souvenir at the finish line.

What is the Walk & Wheels?

The Walk & Wheels is a 7.5-kilometer trek for people who depend on a wheelchair in general daily living (ADL) activities or cannot walk 10 kilometers for any reason. The tour starts at 1 p.m. from BMV de Vilgaard in Velden. Participants will come in with the other walkers of the Neptune Walking Tour at the finish line in downtown Venlo. Participants who need guidance can bring a companion for support.

Is there first aid available during the Neptune Walking Tour?

Both fixed and mobile first aid teams will be used during the Neptune Walk.

Are there rest points and drink stations along the way?

During the Neptune Walking Tour, organizers will set up rest and atmosphere points at various locations along the route. These points will be equipped with various facilities, such as restrooms and seating areas. There will also be outlets here and there for coffee, tea, soft drinks and/or something to eat. Should you wish to take advantage of this, be sure to bring cash. Along the way, you will also pass several water points where you can refill your own water carrier. So don't forget to bring your own water carrier.

Yes, it is possible to exchange your ordered Neptune Walking Tour polo shirt (while supplies last), but only if the shirt is still in its original packaging and within four weeks of delivery. You can exchange the hiking polo shirt in two ways. You can come and exchange the walking polo shirt at the Venloop Foundation office (Koninginnesingel 14, 5911 KB Venlo). You may also choose to exchange the shirt/hiking polo by mail. If you wish to exchange the polo by mail, please make sure that the envelope in which you send the shirt is sufficiently stamped and clearly state which size you would like to receive from us. It is advisable to contact us in advance to check if your desired size is still in stock.

Where can I park on the Saturday of the Neptunus Walk?

Both participants and spectators of the Neptunus Walk can use the following parking garages: - Maaswaard - Prinsessesingel - 5912 AG Venlo - Maasboulevard - Prinsessesingel 5 - 5931 HS Venlo - Nolens Square - Msgr. Nolensplein 50 - 5911 GG Venlo The parking facilities at the Lage Loswal and the Maaskade are also accessible as usual via St. Urbanusweg.

When does the Venloop breakfast take place?

Prior to the Neptune March, you can enjoy a delicious Venloop breakfast at the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in Venlo's Julianapark on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Participating in the Neptune Walk requires a lot of energy, so start your day off right with a fresh and hearty Venloop breakfast at the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in Juliana Park prior to the Neptune Walk. Together with friends, family and many other hikers, enjoy à la minute fried eggs with bacon, crispy croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice and all the other goodies offered during the extensive breakfast buffet. You can purchase a ticket during your registration or through our web shop for €12.50 per person.

Are Nordic Walking poles allowed during the Neptune Walking Tour?

Nordic Walking poles are not allowed during the Neptune Walking Tour. Or other Venloop Foundation walking events.

What time should I finish at the latest during the Neptune Walk?

All walkers and participants of the Neptune Walking Tour and Walk & Wheels must finish before 5 p.m. on the Saturday of the Neptune Walking Tour.

You can transfer your start number to another participant via a form that will come online in early March. In accordance with our terms and conditions, this is also the only permitted way to transfer your start number. The original participant's name will be printed on the start number, however, the new participant will appear under his/her own name in the results list. Please note that the new name will not be displayed at 'check enrollment'. It is important to note that you can only transfer the start number once and it is not possible to change the distance. The new participant must complete the transfer form. In doing so, you do need some information from the current participant, namely the start number, zip code and date of birth. Under no circumstances does the organization pass on participant data or mediate between participants with respect to transfer. For the transfer, €3 will be charged by one-time automatic debit. Upon completion of the transfer process, you will receive a transfer confirmation email. Finally, participants should make sure among themselves that the start number reaches the correct (new) participant, as it is not possible to pass on a change of address for this purpose. Venloop Foundation does not intervene in the transfer of a start number. Participants are responsible for the proper registration and transfer of the physical race number.

How is my time recorded?

Your starting number contains a chip that is needed for time registration. This allows you to see later what your net time is, among other things. The results can be found afterwards on our website. This year, just like previous years, the chip is on the back of your starting number.

For youth runs up to age 6, a parent may run with you. For children 7 years of age or older, this is not allowed.
