Can someone else collect my race number?
Yes, someone else can collect your race number. That person must know your race number and your name.
When and where can I pick up my race number?
Race numbers can be picked up at the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion located in Julianapark in Venlo during the event. Friday, March 19: 9:00 – 17:00 (walkers & runners) Saturday, March 20: 12:00 – 17:00 p.m (runners)
Can I offer my start number for sale?
You can transfer your race number from 22 January to 7 February via your personal dashboard. Go to your personal dashboard via the link in your confirmation email. Here, you can resell your ticket using a private link. Would you like to use the public resale platform? If so, please tick this option. The resale platform will be open again from 5 to 19 March. Only private sales will be permitted during this period. You will be responsible for the physical handover of the race number in due course. It is also possible to transfer or sell a race number for the Neptunus Walk from 5 to 19 March.

01-08 – Registration opens
01-09 – Tariff 2 comes into effect
01-01 – Tariff 3 comes into effect
07-02 – Early bird registration closes; until this date, you can make certain changes via your personal dashboard
20-03 – Neptunus Walk
21-03 – Arrow Venloop
Where do I find my personal dashboard?
You will find your personal dashboard in the confirmation e-mail or at www.atleta.cc/me.
How can I cancel?
You can cancel by sending an e-mail to inschrijven@venloop.nl. Until 31 December, you will receive a refund of your registration fee minus a €5 administration fee in accordance with our general terms and conditions .
I’d like to change my distance – is that possible?
You can change the distance for your entry via your personal dashboard, as long as your desired distance is not fully booked. You can do this until 7 February; after this date, you can send an email to inschrijven@venloop.nl, as long as the distance you wish to run is not fully booked.
Where can I make changes to my registration?
You can make changes to your registration via your personal dashboard. Here, you can also add additional items to your registration, such as having your race number posted to you, a T-shirt or a medal engraving. You can do this until 7 February.
Can I offer my start number for sale?
You can put your race number up for sale via the Resale platform. This is the only official way to put a race number up for sale. The Resale platform will be open from 22 January to 7 February and can be found on our website during this period. You can easily list your race number for sale via your personal dashboard. The Resale platform will reopen from 5 to 19 March. Only private sales will be permitted during this period. You will be responsible for the physical handover of the race number in due course.
What is the best way to travel?
Public transport! Venlo railway station is just a 4-minute walk from the event site.
How do I receive my race number?
Have you chosen to send it? You will receive your race number in the first week of March.
Have you chosen to pick up your race number in person? Walkers can collect their race numbers on Friday 19 March from 09:00 to 17:00. Runners can also collect their race numbers on Friday 19 March from 09:00 to 17:00 or on Saturday 20 March from 12:00 to 17:00.
Your race number can be collected from the registration desk. This is located in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion, situated in the Julianapark in Venlo.
Would you prefer to have your race number sent to you by post? You can add this option to your registration via your personal dashboard until 7 February.
I have not received my start number, now what?
First check via your personal dashboard whether you have chosen to send the start number. If you have not received your starting number on time, you can report to the service desk of the registration office. Here you will receive a new starting number so you can still participate.
The service desk is located in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion in the Julianapark in Venlo.
Race numbers that are returned to the sender will not be sent out again.
Does post-registration take place?
Registration is only possible online until Friday 19 March, provided that a race category has not sold out. It is not possible to register on the day of the event itself.
Is there a waiting list by distance after selling out?
No, there is no waiting list. Cancellations have already been taken into account when determining the maximum number of participants. From 22 January to 7 February, the resale platform will be open, allowing participants who are unable to attend to put their race numbers up for sale. You can find the resale platform on our website.
Is it possible to combine a shipment?
Each registration is considered individual. It is therefore not possible to combine a shipment to one address.
Where can I buy Venloop merchandise?
You can buy Venloop merchandise in your personal dashboard or in our webshop. During the event, there will also be a Venloop stand in the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion.
Can I swap Venloop merchandise?
Yes, you can. You can swap ordered t-shirts or other items at the Venloop office, Koninginnesingel 14 in Venlo or during the event (while stocks last). If in doubt, please contact us first via info@venloop.nl
To which we can answer “yes”:
-Yes, public transport is by far the most cost-effective way to travel to the Venloop
-Yes, you can have a massage from Funqtio’s physiotherapists after the race
-Yes, there is a warm-up area: Burgemeester van Rijnsingel
-Yes, there are pacers for the 10km and the half marathon
-Yes, you can have your medal engraved. This can be done at the Winterman Sports stand in Julianapark
-Yes, you’re allowed to run alongside your child in the Bambino Runs (500 metres)
-Yes, you can leave your luggage safely in the luggage pavilion. This applies only on Sunday 21 March. Book a locker during registration to be sure of getting one. Any unbooked lockers will be made available free of charge on the day of the event
-Yes, there are plenty of cheer points along the route. Are you interested in setting up a cheer point? If so, please contact sfeer@venloop.nl
-Yes, there will be sufficient (mobile) first-aid cover during the event
-Yes, lost property will be collected at the information point in Julianapark. It will be taken to Venlo City Council the week after the event
-Yes, toilet facilities are available, both at the event site and along the 10km and half-marathon routes
-Yes, there are refreshment stations along the 10 km and half-marathon routes
-Yes, there is a reporting point for missing children. This point is located by the Peace Flame behind the Limburgs Museum
-Yes, various photographers are taking photos. These will be published on our website in due course.
To which, unfortunately, we have to answer “no”:
-No, you are not permitted to hand out flyers, leaflets or brochures. We believe it is important to do our bit and therefore try to make sustainable choices wherever possible.
-No, dogs are not allowed at our walking events
-No, Nordic walking sticks are not allowed at our walking events
-No, the route of the Neptunus Walk is not closed to traffic. As a participant, you are a road user just like any other
-No, there is no time limit. All walkers must finish before 17:00. The time limits for the Arrow Venloop are: 5 km: 45 minutes, 10 km: 90 minutes, half marathon: 180 minutes
