The last edition of the Venloop was the last for Weir as main sponsor. From 2024, Weir will no longer be the main sponsor of the Venloop. Together, Stichting Venloop and Weir are looking for a new interpretation of their collaboration.
Weir has been associated with the Venloop since the first edition and after 11 years as main sponsor of the Venloop, the decision has been made to look for a new way of working together and to leave the main sponsor adventure behind.
Wim Lensen, director of the Venloop Foundation, looks back on the special years together with a good feeling: “We would like to thank Weir for the many years of trust and the pleasant cooperation. Together we were able to bring the event to where it is today. Fortunately, we do not say goodbye to each other and we look forward to continuing the beautiful cooperation for years to come, with a different interpretation than before“.
