Last Monday, the winners of the Koenen and Co Business Run received their prize during the award ceremony at the Venloop office in Venlo. This year, no fewer than 290 teams competed for that coveted Koenen and Co Business Run cup, with the combined time of the fastest three team members counting as the final time, resulting in an exciting battle on Sunday 26 March.
In the 5 km, the Lumar Verhuur team won with a combined net time of 58:46:00. This is 1:14 faster than last year when they also ran away with the cup. PVH managed to get a second place with a time of 58:48:00. Third place was also taken by a team from PVH with 1:09:18.
The Running Centre won the Koenen and Co Business Run 10 km cup again this year with a time of 02:01:23. PwC came in second place with a nice joint performance of 02:07:43, followed by PVH with 02:12:09.
The physiotherapy Knops team outpaced its competitors in the half marathon with a time of 03:48:27. Lumar Verhuur took second place with a time of 03:51:52 with the team of IOS Innovative Orthopadie Systeme right behind them with a net time of 03:52:23.
These companies were allowed to take the coveted cup to the office to give it a nice place until next year, because then the battle will erupt again!
