Sports are for everyone!

We at the Venloop agree, which is why we organise the Scelta Mushrooms G-loop every year on the Sunday of the Arrow Venloop. This Scelta Mushrooms G-run is a 1 km run for anyone, ages eight and up, with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.

Afterwards, Scelta Mushrooms treated all G runners to a delicious cup of soup with a sandwich. So that everyone can enjoy the day together!

Start location

Since 2022, we have been using the Maastricht University campus in Venlo as our base:

This location is very close to the start. We’re welcome to gather there from 10:00 am and can leave all our belongings there whilst we’re running.

From here, all G-runners will walk together to the G-runners’ starting area at 10.15 am. The race starts at 10.40 am. Once all G-runners have crossed the finish line, they will walk back together, accompanied by staff, to Nassaustraat, where all participants will be presented with their well-deserved medals.

Registration fee

Registration opens at 00:00 on 1 August. The Early Access registration fee is €8.50. From 1 October, the Premium registration fee of €9.50 applies, and from 1 February, the Last-Minute fee of €10.50 applies. Premium or Last-Minute registration is only possible if a distance has not yet reached the maximum number of participants during the Early Access round.

Wristbands

As a G runner, you will receive three wristbands upon registration. Of course, one wristband for the participant himself and two for parents and/or supervisors. These parents/carers are also welcome to run alongside you for support. After all, you experience the Venloop together. The wristbands also serve as tickets to enter the building on Nassau Street.

NOTE: NO ADMISSION WILL BE PROVIDED WITHOUT A WRISTBAND.
