About the Venloop Running Team
The Venloop Running Team is a running team, housed in a separate athletic club. With this athletics club, the Venloop Foundation wants to provide young running talents from North Limburg with a platform to get the most out of their athletic potential and thus also give the running sport in North Limburg a new boost.
The Venloop Running Team started in January 2014 and now consists of 23 athletes and two trainers. The athletes are scouted at talent tests or local competitions and train together three times a week. The Venloop Running Team scouts running talent in Venlo and surrounding areas (from Swalmen to Venray and from Venlo to Meijel). The Venloop Running Team specifically targets young people in the age group of 12 to 25. The talents participate in regional, national and international competitions and are trained to become top (inter)national athletes.
