New Managing Director of Stichting Venloop

With effect from 1 September 2026, Stichting Venloop will adopt a new organisational structure. Co-founder and current chair of the board, Erik Schnock, will be appointed managing director. From that date, René Hovens and Jermaine Wekenborg will jointly form the Supervisory Board.

Erik was one of the founding members of the Venloop over twenty years ago and has been closely involved in the development of our organisation ever since. In his new role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day management and further development of Stichting Venloop and its activities.

With this new structure, we are making a conscious choice to prioritise continuity. Building on the solid foundation we have established, we will continue to do what we do best: inspiring people to get moving, bringing them together and organising exceptional events as a team.
