Stichting Venloop organiseert in samenwerking met Newtone een Business Run die uniek is in de regio. Companies and institutions from large to small can participate. A sporting opportunity to make it a fun day out with colleagues. Company teams can participate in the 5 kilometers, the 10 kilometers and the half marathon of the Arrow Venloop. The program of the Business Run is similar to that of the regular participants.

A sporting opportunity to make it a fun day out with colleagues. Company teams can participate in the 5 kilometers, the 10 kilometers and the half marathon of the Arrow Venloop. The program of the Business Run is similar to that of the regular participants.
Contacts
The organisation of the Arrow Venloop is keen to get in touch with the company’s sports enthusiasts to encourage colleagues to take part in the Newtone Business Run, either as part of one or more teams. Together, we can then arrange for the distribution of posters, race numbers and other practical matters.
Date
The Newtone Business Run 2027 will take place on Sunday 21 March 2027.
Participation package
What do we offer participants in the Newtone Business Run?
- Start numbers for participants (minimum 3 and maximum 5 per team)
- Time recording system per participant
- Final results in team standings by distance
- Each team member is also listed separately in the individual standings
- Participants in the Newtone Business Run have a separate changing room in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion
- Free shower facilities at the Martinusschool located 100 meters from the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion.
- Free T-shirt for each participant (sizes while supplies last)
- Free locker for valuables in or near the Newtone Business Run changing rooms (one locker per team)
- Broadcast company names of participating companies at the start and finish line (e.g., through recognition on shirts)
- Logo and name listing on the website
- One entry ticket for every two teams entered for the VIP area per participating company for the company’s management. Each participating company will receive at least one ticket to the VIP area, regardless of the number of teams entered.
- The option to purchase additional tickets for the VIP area for €100 per ticket per day
- Other media coverage as a participant in the Newtone Business Run
- And of course all the facilities of a regular registration (such as a medal, water and sports drinks on the course, bus shuttle, etc.).
Cost of participation
The entry fees for the Newtone Business Run are set out in the table below.

It is also possible to participate in different distances. In these combinations, the team that covers the greatest distance will always be ranked first.
Invoices will be sent after registration closes.
Massage
After taking part in the Newtone Business Run, Funqtio’s physiotherapists will be on hand in the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion to help you recover with a lovely massage.
Game Rules
Registration is by team. A team consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of five enthusiastic participants. A team can consist of ladies and gentlemen. Participants in the 5 km must be at least 13 years old, the minimum age on the 10 km is 16 years old and the minimum age of participants in the half marathon is 18 years old. Each team must compete in the business run under the name of the company it represents. Adding consecutive numbers distinguishes between different teams from the same company. Each participant can only participate on one team. A team may include both employees and non-employees.
Adding up the times of the fastest three runners will determine the final score. The team with the lowest total times wins the Newtone Business Run. There are prizes for the first three teams. Timekeeping will be done through a timekeeping system. It is mandatory and provided by the organization. In addition to inclusion in the company standings, each participant will be included in the individual standings.
Register
You can register online for the Newtone Business Run from 1 August at 00:00. Once you have registered, you will receive the sponsorship agreements and an invoice for your participation.
Please note: teams that are only registered during the late registration period will no longer receive a T-shirt.
Unsubscribe
To be eligible for a full refund of the entry fee, you must withdraw teams by 1 February 2027. This is also in accordance with our terms and conditions for the Newtone Business Run. You can withdraw teams by sending an email to sponsoring@venloop.nl.
