The Newtone Business Run 2025 will take place on Sunday 30 March 2025.

General Information

Stichting Venloop, in cooperation with Newtone, is organising a Business Run that is unique in the region. Companies and institutions of all sizes can participate. A sporting opportunity to enjoy a day out with colleagues. Business teams can participate in the Arrow Venloop 5 km, 10 km and half marathon. The Business Run programme is the same as the programme for regular participants.

Contact person

The Arrow Venloop organisation would like to get in touch with the company’s sporting fanatics, to inspire colleagues to participate in the Newtone Business Run in one or more teams. Together, we can then make arrangements for the distribution of posters, start numbers and discuss other practical topics.

What do we offer Newtone Business Run participants?

• Race numbers for the participants (a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 per team)
• Time registration systems per participant
• Final team ranking per distance
• Each team member is also included separately in the individual classification.
• Participants of the Newtone Business Run have a separate changing room in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion
• Free shower facilities at the Martinusschool located 100 meters from the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion.
• Free T-shirt for each participant (preferred sizes while stock lasts)
• Free locker for valuables in or near the Newtone Business Run changing room (one locker per team)
• Announcement of company names of participating companies at the start and finish (e.g. through recognition on shirts)
• Logo and company name included on the website
• For the company management, one entry card for every two registered teams for the VIP area per participating company. Every participating company will receive at least one entry ticket for the VIP area, regardless of the number of teams registered.
• The option to buy additional tickets for the VIP area for €75 per ticket, per day
• Other mentions in the media as a participant in the Newtone Business Run
• Publication of results on www.venloop.nl.
• And of course, all the features of a regular registration (such as a medal, water and sports drink on the course, shuttle bus etc.)
  
  

Price of participation

The prices for participation in the Newtone Business Run are listed in the table below.

It is also possible to take part in several different distances. For these combinations, the team covering the longest distance will be ranked first at all times.

The invoice will be sent after the registration period has closed.

Applying / Registration

Game Rules
Registration takes place per team. A team consists of a minimum of three and a maximum of five enthusiastic participants. A team can consist of women and men. Participants in the 5 km must be at least 13 years old, the minimum age for the 10 km is 16 years old and the minimum age for participants in the half marathon is 18 years old. Each team should take part in the business run under the name of the company it represents. Adding consecutive numbers distinguishes between different teams from the same company. Each individual participant may only compete for one team. A team may include employees and non-employees.

By adding up the times of the three fastest runners, the final score is determined. The team with the fastest total finishing times wins the Newtone Business Run. There are prizes for the first three teams. Timekeeping will be performed by a timekeeping registration system. This is compulsory and will be provided by the organisation. In addition to inclusion in the company classification, each participant will be included in the individual classification.

Registration
You can register online for the Newtone Business Run from 1 August, 00:00. After your registration, you will receive the sponsorship contracts and invoice for your participation.

Withdrawing
To be eligible for a full refund of the entry fee, you must withdraw teams before 17 February 2025. This is also in accordance with our terms and conditions for the Newtone Business Run. You can withdraw teams by sending an e-mail to sponsoring@venloop.nl.
