Starting places for half marathon sold out!
For those who have yet to register a starting place for the Van der Valk Hotel Half Marathon, it’s already too late: all starting places have now completely sold out, months before the actual event. From seasoned participants to spontaneous recreational runners, the half marathon continues to generate interest and enthusiasm.
Some 12,000 participants, including another inspirational elite field, will be eager to hear the starting gun at the Arrow Venloop on Sunday 30 March 2025. Further confirmation that running life continues to reach and inspire so many people!
The Arrow Venloop has become an established annual highlight in the sporting calendar, and is renowned for its fast and incredibly atmospheric course! “From the start, we have been determined to create a route that is both challenging and visually spectacular,” explains Wim Lensen, director of Stichting Venloop (the Venloop Foundation). “From the green Maas floodplains to the celebratory finish line in the historic city centre, participants will run along a beautiful route that will stimulate both their endurance and their senses.”
Ahead of the event, the organisation would therefore like to thank everyone for their continued enthusiasm. “It’s fantastic to see how many people are committed to tackling a sporting challenge like this. The fact that the half marathon has once again sold out underlines the lasting appeal of the event. We can’t wait to welcome all of the runners and supporters. Together with our volunteers, we will be ready.” concludes Wim Lensen.
For the 2025 edition, the Van der Valk Hotel Half Marathon will also provide the setting for the NK Half Marathon. Participants who meet the entry requirements for this event can still register until 16 March 2025.
