Tuincentrum Leurs Walk, 10 years ago…..
Back in 2014, seven ladies sat around a table to evaluate the 4th edition of the Gipmans Young Plants Kwaakerrun. Just like the three previous editions, it had been a successful event. Many runners had enthusiastically participated in the various running competitions. Full of ambition and feeling euphoric thanks to their success, these ladies decided they wanted to offer even more people the opportunity to enjoy this fantastic event and the beautiful nature in ‘t Ven during their fifth jubilee edition in 2015. ‘t Ven could turn even pinker in the first jubilee!
Not everyone is able to run. But a lot of people can walk… and that’s how the walk was born! So what makes walking so much fun? Great company, beautiful routes and of course tasty snacks along the way! We looked for partners and snack sponsors and, of course, participants. And those efforts meant that, in 2015, the very first tasty Kwaakerrun walk could take place.
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the 10th edition of the Kwaakerrun walk, the Tuincentrum Leurs Walk, with you this year. So this year in addition to the 15 km walk, we are also planning a special jubilee route of 10 km!
