Time limits

The limit times are as follows:

half marathon: 180 minutes
10 km: 90 minutes
5 km: 45 minutes

Bag drop off

As a participant of the Arrow Venloop, we offer you the opportunity to leave your luggage in one of the lockers in the luggage pavilion free of charge. Please note! The dimensions of the lockers are: 23 x 27 x 40.

Do you need a bigger locker? Then you can book this during your registration. If you have not done so, but are still interested, take a look in our webshop to see whether larger lockers can be reserved here. Please note: do not leave valuables unattended. The organisation is not liable for loss or theft.

Participants of the Newtone Business Run can leave their clothes in the supervised changing room, which is only accessible on presentation of the wristband that every Business Run participant received with his starting number. There will also be a locker for each team for valuables.

Massage

After your participation in the Arrow Venloop, Funqtio’s physiotherapists will be on hand in the Ewals Cargo Care Pavilion to help you recover with a wonderful massage.

Medal engraving

You can have your brand new medal engraved after your participation in the Arrow Venloop. The people at Winterman Sport will be happy to put your name and finish time on your medal. This way, you will have a unique medal and a beautiful memory of your participation.

You can order an engraving during your registration, it costs €9,-. If you did not choose this during your registration, but still think it would be a nice addition? You can report to the Winterman Sport stand on the day itself, in the tent opposite the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in the Julianapark. If you decide afterwards to engrave your medal, the cost for this is €10.50. Please note: engraving your Arrow Venloop medal is only possible on the day of the event itself.

Registration

Registration is possible from 1 August, 00:00. Premium or Last-Minute registration is only possible if a distance has not yet reached its maximum number of participants during the Early Access round.

Support your marathoner

Do you know someone participating in the 5 km, 10 km or half marathon during the Arrow Venloop? Then encourage your runner with a personal video! Super fun as a surprise on the way, and to give some extra energy during those last metres.

At Café de Locomotief there will be a large screen on which your video will be shown. About 100 metres before this screen there is a mat on the ground. When your athlete runs over this mat, the video will be started! The videos can also be viewed afterwards. From January onwards, you can record your video via this website.

Time registration

In the next edition of the event, bib tags will be used to time the participants. The race timer bib tag is attached to the bib with your race number. All the participant has to do is attach their race number. A shoelace chip is not required. The chip does not have to be returned. In addition to accurate time recording, the chip also records a personal video. To view the video, click the camera icon in the results after the event.

Venloop Shirt

This year you can order a great, functional running shirt when you register. This shirt is included in the price for participants of the Newtone Business Run. You can order men’s, women’s and children’s shirts in a variety of sizes. Shirts can be ordered as long as stocks last using the registration module or via our webshop. As soon as the shirts have been delivered, they can also be purchased at the Venloop office on Koninginnesingel 14 in Venlo during office hours.

Quick start corrals

A special procedure applies to register for the quick start corrals for the 5 km and 10 km events. After approval of your request, you will be sent a confirmation mail and can collect a special sticker at the registration desk in the Ewals Cargo Care pavilion in Julianapark, Venlo. Please attach this sticker visibly to your starting bib. Only runners with this sticker will be granted access to the quick start corral. More information about the procedure for the distance you have registered for is given below.

Registration quick start corral Viking 5 km

The quick start corral is intended for competitors in the Viking 5 km race who can finish the distance in a time less than 19:30 minutes (men) or 21:30 minutes (women). Access to the quick start corral is only granted after an official registration.
Procedure registration quick start corral:
To be eligible for the quick start corral, please send an email to inschrijven@venloop.nl stating your full name, date of birth and demonstrable proof that you have run 5 km in under 19.30 minutes (men) or 21.30 minutes (women) on a certified course in the past year. Send your email before Friday 15 March. You can also do this by enclosing a link to the results of another 5 km event.

Registration quick start corral Aartsen 10 km

The quick start corral is intended for competitors in the Aartsen 10 km race who can finish the distance in a time less than 37 minutes (men) or 41 minutes (women). Access to the quick start corral is only granted after an official registration.
Procedure registration quick start corral:
To be eligible for the quick start corral, please send an email to inschrijven@venloop.nl stating your full name, date of birth and demonstrable proof that you have run 10 km in under 37 minutes (men) or 41 minutes (women) on a certified course in the past year. Send your email before Friday 15 March. You can also do this by enclosing a link to the results of another 10 km event.

Registration quick start corral Van der Valk Venlo half marathon

The quick start corral is intended for competitors in the Van der Valk Venlo half marathon who can finish the distance in a time less than the following limits. Access to the quick start corral is only granted after an official registration.
Procedure registration quick start corral To be eligible for the quick start corral in the Van der Valk Venlo half marathon, please contact our race director Martijn Venhuizen before Friday 1 March by email at racedirector@venloop.nl stating your full name, date of birth and demonstrable proof that you have run a half marathon in 2023 or 2024 within the limits below. These limits must have been run on a course certified by the World Athletics / Athletics Union.
